As part of its NIH mandate, the Center for Chemical Methodology and Library Development at Boston University (CMLD-BU) is dedicated to developing successful working relationships with industrial R&D and manufacturing organizations as well as other academic institutions. The Center seeks to promote knowledge exchange through collaboration, sharing of students and researchers, workshops and symposia.

The administrative offices of the CMLD-BU are located in Rooms 806 and 807 of Boston University’s new Life Sciences and Engineering Building at 24 Cummington Street in Boston. Cummington Street runs parallel to Commonwealth Avenue just past Kenmore Square, and is convenient to both the Blandford Street and Boston University East stops on the MBTA's Green Line B train. Boston University’s Warren Towers parking facility is located just steps away on Hinsdale Street.
